My trip to Iceland, 2022

Iceland 2022
Early in July I visited Iceland for the first time. I was staying right in the middle of Reykjavik. Just around the corner from the famous Hallgrimskirkja. Built in the 1940s it's a striking brutalist design and dmoniates the skyline and is one of the largest attractions in the city.
That's a cool design! Looks a lot like a strange spaceship. What else did you see?
The city is dotted with interesting and unusual shops and houses. The architecture is very typically scandanavian. Lots of small timber frame buildings and narrow walkable streets. Here are a selection of interesting buildings in the city.
We also ventured out of the city. A lot of the landscape is incredibly volcanic, surreal and alien looking.
Are you sure you travelled to the right planet this time? It wouldnt be your first navigational mistake...
I hope I got the right planet as i'd love to go there again some time!
